This site is my access point to the Internet. Much of the content here addresses my experience as an Information Security Professional, as well as various professional roles. I am in the process of vetting this site out with personal interests and additional content. This is a work in process. Friends and family can access restricted content via a secured login.


My Background

I grew up in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. My professional career began with a Fortune 500 company in the Finance Department where I Intergrated Information Technology into our day to day functions for synergies and efficencies. From here I worked for a large Medical Practice (85+ Physicians) supervising their managed care department. I was responsible for audits, finance, technology and a staff of analysts. Next, I began working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and have remained here for over a decade, functioning through a variety of increasing roles of responsibility. I then began working in Enterprise Risk Management at one of the Big 4 firms in a management role for the NorthEast Division, specializing in the Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical) and Healthcare Industries, as well as serving various other business industries including financial, multi-media, publishing, retail, manufacturing, to name a few. I have held management positions in the Security Services, and Internal Audit practices. I then went on to run the North East Information Security Practice for another well known Consulting organization. In my most recent position, I am working as the Director of Information Security, for a Large International Financial Services organization.

Past positions include Engagement Manager - Regional Leadership Team (RLT) - North East Practice Information Security Practice, Manager Enterprise Risk Services, Information Security Manager and Information Security Officer (ISO) for the NorthEast Region and Global Data Center, Global Project Management Organization (PMO) Lead, Technical and Training Customer Service Team Lead, Financial Information Technology Administrator, and ERP Systems Administrator.

I have provided technical training, established training programs to include policies and procedures, and have built teams to support projects transitioning into business as usual (BAU) operations. I have hands-on experience and enjoy the opportunity to "roll-up my sleeves".

After 30 plus years in New Jersey, I relocated to Connecticut during 2004 for a job related promotion. After a short, though rewarding year and a half later, in late 2005, I relocated back to Central New Jersey and now reside in Middlesex County. When I'm not working on security projects, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, hunting, watching movies, traveling to new places, and seldomly do I turn down a road trip or adventure opportunity. Though most of all, I enjoy the company of my family and friends.
